DailyGiggle ("the App", "we", "us") is developed by DigitProdAT. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using DailyGiggle, you agree to the practices described here.
DailyGiggle does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information. There is no backend server: the jokes you've read, your favorite categories, and your notification preferences are stored only on your device using local storage, and are never transmitted to us or to any third party we control.
DailyGiggle is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. To show ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads), AdMob may collect and process:
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies. Depending on your region and device settings, you may be able to limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier from your device's system settings.
DailyGiggle uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand, in aggregate, how the App is used — for example, how many people open the Archive screen, use the share button, or request an extra giggle. This helps us improve the App. Firebase Analytics may collect:
This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's privacy and security policy. We only see this information in aggregate, statistical form — we cannot identify you individually from it.
For transparency, here is a summary of every data type collected by the third-party SDKs described above, why it's collected, and who it's shared with:

If you enable the daily reminder notification, the time and day(s) you choose are stored locally on your device to schedule it. This data is not sent anywhere; it is only used by the App itself to know when to show the local notification.
DailyGiggle is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App's advertising is configured for a general audience, not for child-directed treatment.
Because all app data (read jokes, settings) is stored only on your device, you can erase it at any time by clearing the App's storage from your device's system settings, or by uninstalling the App. You can also delete individual entries, or your entire joke archive, directly from within the App's Archive screen.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
